Diane oversees the creative production side of Saltwater. OK, let's cut the formalities and just say she's a graphic design wiz. She was thinking outside the box before the term was invented, and we're pretty sure she even designed the box.
Greatest attribute: Her ability to create homemade greeting cards that not only surpass anything that big, famous greeting card company has ever done, but they make her co-workers downright giddy with joyous laughter. It's worth noting, she's incorporated pigs into a couple cards that were real winners.
Greatest challenge: Finding the exact recipe for Peeps. While she makes a killer shepherd's pie, she can't quite seem to nail the right mix of sugar, marshmallow and yellow stuff.
Scott designs websites, logos, and cool little graphic thingies for all of our clients. He smiles a little too much when he’s doing it, though, so we’re pretty sure he thinks he’s getting a really cool prize at the end of his shift.
Greatest attribute: He’s the easiest going guy you could ever meet. He’s as relaxed as a newt (go ahead, look it up), and as cool as the other side of the pillow. You just can’t get this guy rattled. Seriously, just the other day we took his wallet and…. wait… he didn’t know about that yet…
Greatest challenge: Convincing the world that football legend Peyton Manning is overrated. He even believes Tee Martin is a better quarterback. Martin led Tennessee to a national football title in 1998, something his predecessor, Manning, was never able to do. Manning has gone on to a Hall of Fame career that includes a Super Bowl ring, while Martin played three games in the NFL. Yet Scott believes Manning is inferior to Martin, and he’s determined to convince us all of that.
Sully writes all the things that need to be written here at Saltwater, and he has a sometimes disturbingly good time doing so. Whether it's weaving words for a magazine ad, sculpting the script for a radio ad, or making web text sing like Sinatra, he digs what he does.
Greatest attribute: Sully crafted the copy on this site, so to point out an attribute would be kind of like bragging. That said, this line you are reading is evidence that Sully writes in the third person when necessary.
Greatest challenge: Storing all of his T-shirts. Not only does he work, play and sleep in T-shirts, he can't seem to stop buying them. Hey, if they keep making new Larry Bird T-shirts, what is a guy supposed to do?
Jamie is an artist of the traditional and technological variety. She can paint with a brush or with a mouse, and does both with equal amounts of innovation and passion. Whether working on a new logo for a client or designing a website, her creative juices flow like a fine wine. You know, the stuff you can't buy in a box.
Greatest attribute: Her smile lights up a room. Seriously, if you try to make her sad, she'll smile more, further illuminating the room she's occupying. She's like a happy lantern with a lifetime supply of batteries. Rumor has it, the Partridge Family hit "Come On, Get Happy" was written about her.
Greatest challenge: Driving past a yard sale. There's a well-made piece of furniture there just waiting to be stripped and beautified, but time is of the essence... WHAT WILL SHE DO?! Chances are, she'll pick it up and make it better.
Jimmy is an accomplished standup comedian, actor, and enthusiastic idea guy who brings 20 years of slinging punchlines, everywhere from Route 1 pizza joints to the largest cruise ship in the world, to the Saltwater team.
Greatest attribute: An obsession with making you laugh. He will find you, you will laugh, and you won't see him coming.
Greatest challenge: Waking up before 10 a.m. Jimmy believes breakfast is the new lunch and that the world should adjust accordingly.
