Saltwater is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Portsmouth, NH office.

Overview:

You are a sharp, engaging, communicative individual (congratulations!) who can channel the voice of the Saltwater brand and share it with the world. This person must have a nose for new business and a strong understanding of marketing automation. You are known as … dramatic pause…  “The Marketing Manager.” 

The Marketing Manager is a role that requires both planning and execution on internal marketing initiatives with the ultimate objective of driving leads to support new business for the agency. The Marketing Manager is responsible for co-developing and implementing a plan with agency principles and working with the agency sales team to increase the right new business opportunities. Much of this plan will be execution of digital and content-based marketing tactics as well as management of the agency’s marketing automation platform. 

Responsibilities:

A successful Marketing Manager needs a diverse skill set and enjoys the challenge of leveraging those skills to get results. Of all those aforementioned skills, Saltwater values writing and content production first and foremost, followed by knowledge of digital marketing and lead generation as well as experience and comfort managing digital marketing platforms. The Marketing Manager would be responsible for coordination with the New Business Development Manager and internal agency team and producing content that attracts business leads and nurtures them through our qualifying system.

  • Create both broad-based and targeted content for MAP and Social platforms
  • Own and maximize the agency’s MAP platform
  • Work with team to leverage agency’s thought leadership and quality of work
  • Co-develop agency marketing plan
  • Work with sales team to help identify and then implement ABM tactics
  • Present tactical recommendations to agency’s Executive and Sales teams
  • Manage internal marketing budget
  • Gather and analyze data to provide sound, strategic recommendations
  • Stay tied into the agency landscape and identify speaking and/or sponsorship opportunities for the agency to participate in

 Required Skills:

  • Understands an objective, strategy, and tactical marketing system
  • Writing background with an editorial mindset
  • Social Media Planning and Execution experience
  • Comfort in CMS and MAP platform environment
    • Pardot knowledge a plus
    • Closed-loop analytics reporting on leads and opportunities a plus
  • Inbound Marketing Knowledge
  • Coordination with internal SME's on the following skill sets:
    • SEO
    • PPC
    • Animation and Video
    • Creative

Other Requirements:

Must be currently, legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

 Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience within a marketing team
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Agency experience preferred
