Optimization Specialist

Saltwater is seeking an optimization specialist to join our digital marketing team.

Job Overview

Saltwater Collective is seeking an experienced Optimization Specialist to join our growing Digital Experience team. And when we say join, think of it like you’re joining a band; a supergroup, really. Yes, the ideal candidate must be extremely enthusiastic (staying with the band theme, we don’t mind if you sing sometimes) about all things analytics, websites, Google, data, and of course - optimization! That’s right, we put an exclamation point at the end of “optimization!” There it is again!

The Optimization Specialist is a position that focuses on both Analytics and SEO strategy - from the set up of new websites and preparing them to launch, to auditing and ongoing monitoring of existing sites. Soup to nuts kinda stuff! They should be well versed in administration of analytics platforms, designing and building custom reports, data analysis, on-site and off-site SEO tactics, and must understand how those activities play into larger digital marketing strategies. It is essential that the Optimization Specialist be able to communicate that information to Saltwater clients. All good so far?! Then keep reading!

Managing client relationships is a key component of this position. Beyond acting as a technical liaison for web analytics administration, the Optimization Specialist must have the ability to clearly articulate SEO strategy and supporting tactics. The Optimization Specialist must be able to run calls and meetings independently with the confidence and industry knowledge to address the clients they are supporting.

In short, you need to be able to walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk. Or, going full circle, sing the song.
